Dr. Gazmend Mustafa

Dr. Gazmend Mustafa is a highly respected plastic surgeon with over two decades of international experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Known for his patient-centered approach and dedication to medical excellence, Dr. Mustafa has performed over 2,500 plastic surgery procedures as the lead surgeon, earning the trust of patients across Italy and Albania.

He began his medical journey at the University of Tirana, where he earned his degree in General Medicine in 1998. He went on to specialize in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care before pursuing further education in Italy, obtaining a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin in 2006. In 2013, he became a board-certified specialist in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, after completing his residency at the University of Turin.

Dr. Mustafa has held key roles in prominent medical institutions, including:

• Plastic Surgeon at Istituto Auxologico Italiano (2020–present)

• Director of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Diabetic Foot Unit at the University Trauma Hospital in Tirana (2013–2020)

• Plastic Surgery Lecturer at the University “Our Lady of Good Counsel” in Tirana (2018–2020)

• Previous positions in Bergamo, Torino, and as part of various humanitarian medical projects

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Mustafa has been actively involved in humanitarian efforts, including coordinating the “New Smile in Tirana” project in collaboration with Professor Giovanni Bocchiotti, the Compagnia San Paolo foundation, and the Albanian Children Foundation.

He currently sees patients in Naples, Rome, and Milan, offering consultations and advanced plastic surgery treatments with a focus on safety, harmony, and personalized results.
